Panorama Music Festival ended its second outing on a somber note, with A Tribe Called Quest announcing that its performance would be its last in New York City. The hip-hop veterans—formed in Queens circa 1988—have been treating their tour behind sixth album We Got It From Here…Thank You for your Service as a career swan song. The tour has largely been an homage to founding member Phife Dawg, who passed away in March 2016. The festival’s final entry was also one of its most eclectic, with Nine Inch Nails playing cuts off their new anxiety-riddled EP Add Violence and Justice pummeling a cascade of synthetic beats in the EDM designate, The Pavilion. Photographer DeShaun Craddock concludes his three-day sprint through Randall’s Island Park with the above gallery. Check back later for coverage of Newport Folk Festival and later this weekend for our take on Lollapalooza.
