Everyone knows the 1994 iconic video for The Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage.” The Spike Jonze-directed spoof of ‘70s and ‘80s-era crime shows like “Starsky & Hutch” and “Kojak” has been dubbed one of the decade’s best. The song and video are now full-blown classics and today we were graced with this: a fan-made video that uses existing footage of Sesame Street characters to recreate the “Sabotage” video scene for scene. It’s something you really didn’t think you needed to see, but will be so grateful that you did.

The video follows Big Bird and other characters as they appear to be making a very dramatic and intense escape from the cops, and it’s funnier than it has any right to be. Watch it above.

This is just the latest in a series of Muppet mashups from editor Adam Schleichkorn, aka Mylo The Cat. His previous videos include one where Sesame Street characters lip-sync Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s “Tha Crossroads”—enjoy that below. The videos have millions of views on YouTube and after you watch one, you’ll understand why.
