Sometimes, the stars align for musicians. When a group of experienced rockers who have toured the country in separate bands come together and form something special it is rewarding to see that band take off. That is what Charleston, SC based The Artisanals are experiencing right now. Today we premiere The Artisanals first official single, "Roll With It", and it is instantly memorable bringing to mind the best of Tom Petty and the more fun aspects of Father John Misty and The War on Drugs. It is a song about positivity and never giving up which is a reoccurring theme found in their pending debut EP, "Literally Anywhere" available 9/14. The Artisanals have hit the road heavily throughout the US since forming in late 2016. All of January was spent recording at The Magic Barn Studio through a 1970 Neve console on all the gear from the now defunct Magic Shop studio in NYC; which recorded David Bowies last two albums, Arcade Fire's The Suburbs, and can be seen on David Grohl’s Sonic Highways. The band plans to release a full length album soon after the release of the EP, but for now, enjoy their anthem, "Roll With It", and catch the fellas on the road this Fall with Band of Horses and J Roddy Walston and the Business.
