Our semi-regular comedy night left its humble abode at the Paste Studio in Manhattan last night and ventured all the way out to Brooklyn, where it popped up for one night under the auspices of the Brooklyn Comedy Festival at the William Vale luxury hotel. On a gorgeous terrace overlooking the city, some of the best comedians working today, including Michelle Wolf, Mark Normand, Kevin Barnett, Jo Firestone, Jena Friedman and Joe Zimmerman, performed to a sold-out crowd. It all happened under the watchful eye of Paste’s own Becca Beberaggi, who served as host and MC. If you weren’t able to make it out (like certain editors based in Paste’s Atlanta office…), you can still get a feel for the night by checking out this gallery of photos taken by Brad Wagner. Maybe queue up some YouTube videos of all six comics and then listen to them while staring at Brad’s photos to really feel like you were there?
Don’t worry if you missed this show. Paste will have more comedy nights in the future, and the Brooklyn Comedy Festival continues through this weekend. Check out their site for more information.
