Shivering Hurricane Victim Curses at CNN; Neal Boortz Says She Should Mind Her Language

With Hurricane Harvey ravaging much of Texas, CNN’s coverage is desperately trying to invade the privacy of as many victims as possible. Well, one of the victims (understandably) took offense to that.

While most sane people felt sorry for the woman and understood her anger at an unhelpful reporter trying to document her problems as breathlessly as possible, one man decided to take a stand against the real issue here: the use of the word “fuck.”

That’s right, Neal Boortz had this to say after seeing a woman flooded out of house and home with shivering children standing next to her:

It’s probably unnecessary to tell you this, but that is an incredibly shitty thing to say. Attacking a woman’s character and mocking her lack of a visible husband because she said a naughty word in anger is the work of a petty, spiteful, idiotic brain, the kind of brain that could only belong to a libertarian pundit.

Boortz later apologized, but only to people who had an “honest disagreement” with him, because anyone who just said “fuck you” to this morally bankrupt tweet must not be honest, or something.
