Gary Clark Jr. showcased his explosive, bluesy grit when he tackled a rendition of “Come Together” by The Beatles. He first premiered the song in an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, which you can watch below, and has now recorded a studio version of the song for the forthcoming Warner Bros. motion picture Justice League.
Recorded at The Village Recorders in Los Angeles, the track was produced by Junkie XL and Mike Elizondo, with additional production by Sam de Jong. It was released digitally today and will be pressed on vinyl later this fall with an exclusive extended b-side.
To commemorate the release, Clark is scheduled to do a Facebook Live session today (Sept. 8) at 1 p.m. EDT. Stream the track via your service of choice here, watch the trailer for Justice League featuring Gary Clark Jr.’s cover here and check out his 2012 Daytrotter Session below.
