Paste Music was thrilled to present The National Parks live today at 2:30 p.m. EST in our New York Studio, where they performed three songs (“At the Heart,” “Esperanca” and “Currents”) from their new album, Places.
Formed by frontman Brady Parks in 2013 in Provo, Utah, The National Parks play anthemic indie-folk as boundless as their name would suggest. Along with Parks, the five-piece band comprises vocalist Sydney Macfarlane, guitarist John Hancock, drummer Cam Brannelly and violinist Megan Parks. They’re currently on tour, with a stop at New York’s Mercury Lounge on Oct. 20.
You can also check out their exclusive four-song Daytrotter session from May 6, 2016, here.
