Danny Brown Says Apple Music “Pretty Much” Shelved His Concert Documentary Live at the Majestic

We know from “Ain’t It Funny” and “Really Doe” that with a Danny Brown video, a crazy-raunchy trip is implied. We don’t know what a Danny Brown concert documentary might be like—though we had some inkling with the premiere of Live at the Majestic before Atrocity Exhibition came out last year. Earlier this month, the rapper announced that the doc would be out exclusively on Apple Music Nov. 7, but it didn’t appear—and so far, no one’s stepped forward to comment on why. Not even Danny, really.

We’ve reached out to reps for the rapper and Apple Music for more info on the situation. Below, see what Danny had to say about it on Twitter in response to sad friends and fans. Further down, check out Danny’s “Die Like a Rockstar” performance from the Paste Cloud circa 2011.
