Atlanta rapper Trouble may currently be in the clink on drug charges, but today, with the help of Drake and Mike WiLL Made-It, he’s being recognized for his work rather than his indiscretions.
The trio collaborated on a track, “Bring It Back,” which previously leaked earlier this month, but today, the song sees an official release. Mike WiLL’s bouncy beat lays down a minimal foundation for Trouble’s abrasive verses, toned down by Drake’s relaxed flow as he raps, “You can’t push us to the edge / Trouble from the edge.”
Mike WiLL has had a particularly fruitful year, having produced beats for the likes of Yo Gotti, Future, Young Thug and many others, and also contributed production to Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.,” which is in the running for multiple Grammy awards. Drake also made his mark on 2017 with the release of his playlist More Life, and hopefully 2018 will bring about more activity from him. Until then, check out “Bring It Back” via Spotify or Apple Music below.
