Fleet Foxes Announce Additional U.S. Tour Dates, Reveal Tour Support

After announcing a gargantuan U.S. tour last month, Fleet Foxes have announced more U.S. tour dates in support of their latest LP, Crack-Up, as CoS points out.

Having previously announced appearances at festivals like Atlanta’s Shaky Knees and Boston Calling, as well as East Coast and Midwest headline shows, the band has revealed a number of dates in California alongside their Coachella festival appearance.

As also announced today, support from many of the band’s dates will come from Brooklyn folk-pop artist Amen Dunes.

Last year’s Crack-Up was the band’s third studio album and it was released after the band’s six-year hiatus. The album was released to critical acclaim, with Paste contributor Ben Salmon describing the record as, “sumptuous and ambitious, a serpentine journey from the center of harmony-drenched folk-pop out to the edge of Pecknold’s brain and back. It is lovely, strange and generous, and ultimately a very welcome return for the Seattle band.”

Check out the band’s upcoming tour dates below and watch a Paste Cloud performance of the band from 2008.
