Here Are All the New Movie Trailers That Aired During Super Bowl LII

Each year, the Super Bowl offers a glimpse into some really exciting films to check out in the upcoming year. They tend to be first looks at big-budget studio films with a lot of hype, such as Solo: A Star Wars Story, Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Sometimes, though, you can catch a cool look into some more niche films, like A Quiet Place and The Cloverfield Paradox. Last night, Super Bowl LII’s ads gave us insight into some of the most anticipated films coming out this spring and summer. Without any further ado, enjoy some of the most talked-about and hyped-up trailers for some big films coming to a theater near you.

A Quiet Place

Experience terror and the true meaning of “silence is golden” in the horrifying film A Quiet Place. Real-life couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski star as a family living in an isolated world ravaged by alien invaders that kill at any sound. “If they hear you, they hunt you,” is the family’s motto, so they must live in silence or face annihilation. Try not to make a sound on April 6.

Avengers: Infinity War

Like no war you’ve ever seen, the biggest showdown featuring the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe comes together to defeat Thanos before he destroys the world. Infinity War explodes into theaters on May 4. Last night’s Super Bowl spot includes some new footage from the film that didn’t appear in its first teaser, released back in November.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

When a volcano threatens the existing dinosaurs, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard mount an expedition to save them from extinction … again. Beginning as an honest struggle for survival, their journey unveils a dark conspiracy that could return the world to a prehistoric land that deems only the ones with the biggest teeth survive. Try not to get eaten on June 22.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout

Ethan Hunt returns with some familiar allies in a race against the clock after a mission goes awry. Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson and Michelle Monaghan return to help Hunt as he battles Henry Cavill and a team of villains. The film, should you choose to accept it, arrives in theaters on July 27.

Red Sparrow

Join the secret Sparrow School and become a lethal killer like Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in this forthcoming thriller. In order to protect the ones she loves, former ballerina Dominika Egorova must master the art of seduction, manipulation and combat, or she could lose everything. Become a Sparrow on March 2 and see the film’s previous trailers here.

Skyscraper

On a mission in China, a former war vet and hostage rescue leader (Dwayne Johnson) now runs security for the seemingly safest skyscraper until he gets framed for a crime he didn’t commit. On the run to clear his name and save his family, he must get down to the bottom of a deceitful cover-up and find the people responsible. See if he can clear his name on July 13.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

He’s been running scams on the street since he was ten; Han Solo had to start somewhere before hooking up with Luke and Leia. Discover the origin story to the galaxy’s most daring and charming pilot on May 25. The trailer tease above aired ahead of the full teaser, which debuted on Monday’s Good Morning America.

The Cloverfield Paradox

Ten years ago, something inexplicable happened when they arrived. Find out what it was in the long-awaited release of the Cloverfield franchise prequel formerly titled God Particle, available to stream on Netflix now. You can read our review of the surprise-released film here.
