Neil Young + Promise Of The Real Release Beautiful New Video, "Almost Always"

Neil Young  + Promise Of The Real have released a video for their new single, “Almost Always.”

Young recently collaborated with Promise Of The Real for a new LP, The Visitor, which came out last December. He also collaborated with the band on his 2015 album The Monsanto Years and their 2016 live album Earth.

This new single follows Neil Young + Promise Of The Real’s recently released single “Already Great,” which is a direct condemnation of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”

“Almost Always” is a chilled-out country track led by Young’s pretty serenade and some yearning harmonica solos, acoustic guitar, light percussion and a few vibrant flourishes of electric guitar. The video features lo-fi, slow- and fast-motion close-ups of intensely beautiful nature scenes, and a brief appearance from Young at the end, blowing on a dandelion.

In December, Young announced that all of his music would be put online in high quality and available for free. To check it out, go to the Neil Young Archives website here.
