Screaming Females Release Haunting Annie Lennox Cover, "No More I Love You's"

New Jersey indie rockers Screaming Females have released a new track, “No More I Love You’s,” for a new Amazon Music playlist.

The new song is for an Amazon Music playlist in celebration of Valentine’s Day called “Love Me Not,” to numb the pain of heartache, and it features Jay Som, of Montreal, Insecure Men, Warbly Jets and more.

There’s also another playlist in conjunction with this one called “Love Me,” which is dedicated to all the lovebirds out there. It features The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, Marlon Williams, Alex Ferreira and more.

Screaming Females’ “No More I Love You’s” is a cover of the classic Annie Lennox track and it features hauntingly beautiful lead vocals reminiscent of the late, great Dolores O’Riordan, singing of deep-set heartbreak and pain.

The track was originally recorded by The Lover Speaks in 1986 and it became a hit for Scottish singer Annie Lennox in 1995 after she released it as the first single for her second studio album, Medusa.

Screaming Females recently announced a new album, All At Once, out on Feb. 23 via Don Giovanni. It will be the band’s seventh studio album and it will feature singles, “Black Moon,” “Glass House” and “Deeply.”
