J.J. Abrams-Produced Thriller Anthology Series <i>Castle Rock</i> Hits Hulu in July

Hulu’s rash of news and reveals isn’t done just yet. Following confirmation that the streaming service’s acclaimed original series The Handmaid’s Tale will get a third season, the company announced that their new J.J. Abrams-helmed psychological thriller anthology series Castle Rock will debut on July 25 with the release of its first three episodes.

Set in the wide-ranging multiverse of horror novelist Stephen King, Castle Rock chronicles the mysteries surrounding the cursed Maine town of Castle Rock and its residents. The latest trailer for the series also launched today, and it paints the series in King-grade tension.

Developed by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason, the series stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Billy Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn.
