S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Officially Announced, Set for 2021 Release

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, like many characters in S.T.A.L.K.E.R., seemed to be dead as of 2012. Yet, here we are in 2018 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is back in development. According to a website that launched alongside the sequel’s announcement, the game is set to release in 2021.
GSC Game World, developers of the initial S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, are back in the development chair for this title. Besides that, there isn’t much to go on here. No teasers, screenshots, trailers or etc.
GSC Game World head Sergiy Grygorovych shared a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday “officially declaring” that GSC Game World is working on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. But for now, it is best to remain cautiously optimistic at best, despite how genuinely exciting a proper S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel may be.
