Watch The Twilight Sad Pay Tribute to Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit at Primavera Sound

At their Primavera Sound performance on May 31, The Twilight Sad performed a cover of Frightened Rabbit’s “Keep Yourself Warm” as a tribute to Scott Hutchison, who passed away in early May after being reported missing on May 9.

Frightened Rabbit  drummer and brother of Scott Grant Hutchison posted a video of the performance via the band’s Twitter, saying, “I can’t explain the love I have for the people in this band. We did so much growing up together and nothing will ever separate James and Scott. Two of the greatest artists I’ve known.” James Graham is the vocalist of The Twilight Sad.

The Twilight Sad responded on Twitter, sending love back:

The First Incident, a festival organized by Frightened Rabbit, was meant to occur today, June 1, in Glasgow and would have included performances by Frightened Rabbit, Hookworms, Dama Scout and Be Charlotte. The festival was cancelled following Scott’s death.

SAMH is the Scottish Association for Mental Health and it provides, amongst other things, information and support regarding suicide prevention.

Grant Hutchison posted a heart-wrenching photo regarding the festival today.

Today was meant to be a whole lot different.
