The Hold Steady
continued their string of single releases on Friday with two new songs, “Confusion in the Marketplace” b/w “T-Shirt Tux,” out now via Frenchkiss Records.
Fans can download the single via the band’s Bandcamp page by donating to the K + L Guardian Foundation, a fund set up to benefit the children of Unified Scene founder “Jersey” Mike Van Jura, who died in November of 2012.
“Confusion in the Marketplace” b/w “T-Shirt Tux” arrives just as The Hold Steady get set to continue their “Constructive Summer” series of North American live dates. The dates begin with a special 10th anniversary performance of Stay Positive in its entirety on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern.
