Paste is thrilled to announce the launch of our newest podcast, Live at Paste Studio. Select studio sessions hosted by Brad Wagner will be released as podcasts on Mondays and Thursdays. You can listen or subscribe at iTunes, GooglePlay Music, or listen right here at PasteMagazine.com. And, of course, you can watch the video from all our sessions here.
Each episode will feature an interview and live performance of three to four songs at the Paste Studio at the Manhattan Center. The first episode features Vulfpeck collaborator and all-around goofball Cory Wong, who released his second solo LP in August, a follow-up to 2017’s Cory Wong and the Green Screen Band. It’s called The Optimist, which seems an appropriate title for music so effortlessly cheery. Wong and his talented crew swung by the Paste Studios in New York City on Sept. 20 to play three tracks from the record, but their set morphed into a full-blown jam session, complete with plenty of bandmate banter and jazzy undertones.
