New England Patriots Player Declines Trump White House Visit, Says He'd Rather Meet with Barack Obama

The maddeningly successful New England Patriots, who on Sunday won their record-tying sixth Super Bowl as an NFL franchise, are known as “Team MAGA” for a reason: The owner, coach and quarterback who form the nucleus of their dynasty have long been friends and supporters of Trump.

One Patriot breaking that mold is safety Duron Harmon, who told TMZ Sports that he’s not interested in visiting the White House as is customary for Super Bowl champions, correctly noting, “They don’t want me in the White House.” The outlet also quoted Harmon as saying “it would be dope” to visit former president Barack Obama instead, as the Golden State Warriors did during a recent D.C. trip.

Guess this means Harmon isn’t a fan of room-temperature fast food. Or, maybe it’s, you know … the racism.
