Josh Radnor Is Ready to Hunt Some Nazis on Amazon's The Hunt

Did you ever turn on an episode of How I Met Your Mother and think to yourself while watching Ted Mosby wax philosophical about his latest breakup, “I really want to see that guy pop a cap in some Nazi’s ass”? Well, the people behind Amazon’s forthcoming drama The Hunt had the exact same idea.

Josh Radnor is joining the cast of The Hunt, the 10-episode series about Nazi hunters in the 1970s, as per THR. The Liberal Arts actor will appear as Lonny Flash, a movie star who leads a secret life as a Nazi hunter alongside Al Pacino’s character and the rest of the Hunt organization. Logan Lerman stars as Jonah Heidelbaum, a young man who becomes involved in the Hunt after his grandmother is murdered. The vigilante group is set on taking down the high-ranking Nazi officials hiding out in the United States in an attempt to establish the Fourth Reich.

“Hunting Nazis alongside Al Pacino is all I’ve ever really wanted out of life,” Radnor tweeted Friday.

Besides Lerman and Pacino, the cast is also led by Jerrika Hinton, who plays FBI agent Millie Malone. The remainder of the roster includes Lena Olin (Alias), Carol Kane (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Saul Rubinek (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Tiffany Boone (The Following), Louis Ozawa Changchien (The Bourne Legacy), Greg Austin (Mr. Selfridge) and Dylan Baker (Homeland).

Jordan Peele and Win Rosenfeld are executive producing under their banner Monkeypaw Productions, along with Sonar Entertainment’s Tom Lesinski and Jenna Santoianni. Showrunners David Weil (also the series’ creator) and Nikki Toscano (Bates Motel, Revenge) are also serving as executive producers.
