Take a Trip to a Surreal Version of Mexico City in HBO's Los Espookys Trailer

We finally have a decent look at HBO’s latest comedy series, Los Espookys, and things seem very, very weird. Decapitated heads, a sea witch and—hey, why not—a fake demonic possession all appear.

We’ve previously written about the bilingual half-hour comedy premiering in June, but in case you need a refresher, here’s HBO’s synopsis:

From Julio Torres and Ana Fabrega, alongside Fred Armisen and Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live, the primarily Spanish-language show follows a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business, providing horror to those who need it, in a dreamy Latin-American country where the strange and eerie are just part of daily life.

Check out the head trip of a trailer below. Los Espookys’ six-episode first season debuts Friday, June 14, at 11 p.m. ET on HBO.
