Ninja Says Goodbye to Twitch, Will Stream Exclusively on Mixer

In a Shyamalan-esque twist, one of the world’s most popular Twitch streamers—Tyler “Ninja” Blevins—will be leaving the Amazon-owned streaming platform behind and begin working exclusively on Mixer.
Blevins detailed his “next chapter” in a tweet posted Thursday that linked to a video in which the game streamer announced his transition to Mixer before a dramatized press line.

Mixer, now a huge competitor to Twitch and YouTube following the Ninja get, is a Microsoft-owned service—it started back in 2016 under the name Beam, but rebranded in 2017 to what it is now.
“I’ll be streaming on Mixer full-time now and I’m honestly at a loss for words,” states Blevins in a follow-up video. “I’m freaking out in the best ways. I feel like I’m going to get back to the streaming roots.”
But don’t worry, Fortnite fans, the now-former Twitch partner will still be streaming the monumental battle royale game after his move to Mixer.
Since the announcement, Twitch has acted quickly, removing Ninja’s verified status from the platform. Whether it will go further than that has yet to be seen.
