Celebrate Keith Richards' Birthday with His 1985 Performance Alongside Bob Dylan

Rolling Stones guitarist and founding member Keith Richards turns 76 today (Dec. 18). Richards, or “Keef” as he’s often known, is still going strong despite the fact that he joined the Stones in the early ’60s and spent decades living the debauchery-filled rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle. Both his music and his wild stories have become the stuff of legend. We’re equally mesmerized by his “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” riff as we are his tall tale of snorting his own father’s ashes.

To celebrate “Keef,” we’re sharing his performance with Bob Dylan and Ronnie Wood from 1985 at the now-demolished JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. The trio performed early Dylan classics like “Ballad of Hollis Brown” and “Blowin’ In The Wind.” You can listen to all three of these bluesy acoustic live tracks below.
