Sacha Baron Cohen Compares Zuckerberg to <i>Jojo Rabbit</i>'s Nazi-Sympathizing Protagonist at Golden Globes

Funnyman and star of The Spy Sacha Baron Cohen saw an opportunity during his Jojo Rabbit introduction at the Golden Globes for some well-timed Mark Zuckerberg shade, and he took it.

His potshot was played off in jest, but Cohen’s joke was one of many aimed at the complacency with the current world order exhibited by today’s elites. Ricky Gervais, the night’s host, called out the friendship many celebs had with recently deceased Jeffrey Epstein and warned against using awards speeches as a platform for “political speech” when winners “know nothing about the real world.”

Even director Bong Joon-ho, who accepted Parasite’s award for Best Foreign Language Film, classily went after lazy Americans for dismissing non-English language films:

Among the night’s other winners were Awkwafina with a historic Best Actress win for her role in The Farewell and Laura Dern’s fifth Golden Globes win for Marriage Story.
