Lucinda Williams Announces New Album Good Souls Better Angels

The three-time Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams has announced a new album, Good Souls Better Angels, out April 24 on Highway 20/Thirty Tigers, and has shared a new track, “Man Without a Soul.”
The song begins evocatively, in drawl: “You’re a man without truth / a man of greed, a man of hate / A man of envy and doubt/ You’re a man without a soul.” Williams implies that Donald Trump is the “man” in question, according to Rolling Stone.
Good Souls Better Angels follows Williams’ This Sweet Old World (2017), and was produced alongside Williams’ husband Tom Overby and Ray Kennedy.
