“Does this sound too much like Joni Mitchell?” Klara Söderberg asks after recording a song on her iPad in the bathroom. Klara and Johanna Söderberg from First Aid Kit are not your typical 18- and 21-year olds, with their first full-length album already under their belt. Their sophomore album, The Lion’s Roar, is set to be released this upcoming January.
The Swedish sisters, who recently opened for Lykke Li at The Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, Ga., killed time before the show hanging around the green room showing no traces of nerves, acting like pros that have been performing for years. They’ll continue to bring their focused act the venues throughout 2012 on their recently announced North American and European tour dates this Spring.
