A Day in the Life: The Blank Tapes

The Blank Tapes are made of some far-out magic. When hanging with the trio who is two-part lovers, one-part friend, we asked ourselves a few questions. Did this trio time travel from 1965? Are we in a San Fran coffeehouse? Is Matt Adams in fact, kin to Ray Davies?

We caught up with The Blank Tapes during their stay in Atlanta where they recorded two new tunes, ate a quick brunch at West Egg, took a walk around Little Five Points and headed to The Earl for an energy-packed set at midnight.

Check out Kristen Blanton’s photos with the young band who are not only deliciously groovy, but are only moving up.
