2011 has been a great year for Dawes. Frontman Taylor Goldsmith collaborated with Deer Tick’s John McCauley and Delta Spirit’s Matthew Vasquez in the Americana supergroup Middle Brother, worked with Robbie Robertson on his recent solo record and earned his permanent group a role as the former member of The Band’s touring group. But all that is behind Goldsmith for the moment, who currently remains focused on his work with priority band Dawes. As the California rockers prepare to release their second LP Nothing Is Wrong this month, they stand on the cusp of becoming a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
Dawes stopped by the Paste offices to record Nothing Is Wrong live in its entirety. Watch and listen to “My Way Back Home” here.
