Indie-pop band the Lighthouse and the Whaler have come a long way from writing songs in a field in Cleveland, Ohio. After the release of their first self-titled album in 2009, the four-person group hit the road for a North American tour.
Their sophomore album, This is an Adventure, will be released Sept. 18. Written during a six-month period, the album was recorded in Seattle at Bear Creek Studios. It was produced by Ryan Hadlock who has worked with notable names, including the Lumineers and Ra Ra Riot.The Lighthouse and the Whaler will be hitting the road Sept. 15, kicking off the tour in their hometown of Cleveland.
