On Oct. 2, Diana Krall will release her 11th studio album, Glad Rag Doll. Produced by T-Bone Burnett, the album sees Krall paying homage to early 20th century swing music.
Despite the album’s cover, Krall doesn’t necessarily view the album as a period piece and calls it simply a “song and dance” record.
Krall recently sat down with T-Bone Burnett and legendary musician Elvis Costello. Costello interviewed the duo about the recording process, the inspiration for the album and Krall’s influences.
