It’s been a while since Manhattan band The Postelles treated fans to new content. Their debut self-titled album was produced by The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., who stumbled upon the band’s live performance and was impressed enough to invite them to record in his home.
It’s unsurprising, really, that their stage presence is what earned them a nod of approval from Hammond. Since the release of The Postelles, the band has taken to the road and made stops at huge festivals and tiny clubs alike. Playing together in such an array of environments has allowed their sound to evolve, and it’s evident on their recently announced sophomore album ...And It Shook Me.
