The Last Bison is a band that catches the eye as much as the ear for its rustic, old-world feel and unique folk music. So it comes as no surprise that the band’s forthcoming album VA, pronounced Virginia and named after their home state, has its roots in an old A-frame cabin where the band spent several days and transformed the space into a temporary studio. The result is an 11-song collection that speaks to the band’s growth since 2013’s Inheritance. The album is set for release on Sept. 30, but you can listen to the release in full in the player above and check out behind-the-scenes photos with the band in the gallery at the top of the page.
