For the third year in a row, Paste teamed up with Aloft Hotels to take our Live at Paste sessions on the road, stopping at 20 locations around the country to shoot one-of-a-kind live performances and inviting fans and readers out to be a part of the process. This year, though, we were able to be a part of their 100 Days of Music series, a celebration of the opening of Aloft’s milestone 100th hotel opening early next year.
We rounded out the last of Paste’s 20 dates with Aloft in Nashville, Tennessee, and Music City certainly lived up to its name. Nashville-based, Mississippi-born band The Weeks brought a drove of fans along with their loud tunes to the Aloft Nashville West End, running through tracks from their recent EP as well as latest full-length Dear Bo Jackson and closing out the night with fan-favorite “Buttons.” Watch the band perform “Buttons” in the player above. If you like what you hear, make sure to head on over to the band’s webstore and pick up a copy of the album.
