More than 25 years later and The Simpsons can still manage to serve up creative introductions. In a segment set to air this Sunday, the show eschews its traditional opening in favor of an extended tribute to the AMC program Breaking Bad.

Channeling last year’s mid-season finale “Gliding Over All,” the intro finds Marge cooking up a batch of delicious-looking blue cupcakes as Tommy James and the Shondells’ “Crystal Blue Persuasion” soundtracks her activities. Meanwhile, Homer—wearing a hat that’s all too familiar to fans of Walter White’s “Heisenberg” persona—alternates between sneaking in bites and lounging asleep on the cast.

If that weren’t enough, the scenes pulls back to find Walter and his compatriot Jesse Pinkman — casually sipping beer while decked out in their Hazmat suits — watching this tribute unfold on their TV.
