Just when we thought Yeezy’s head couldn’t get any bigger, Lou Reed had to go and do something like this.

The 71-year-old rock legend reviewed Kanye West’s latest for TheTalkhouse, and, surprisingly, it’s one of the most glowing reviews of Yeezus we’ve read yet.

The Talkhouse features musicians reviewing other artists’ works to “promote dialogue between musicians who may never have interacted otherwise” and has featured Bob Mould reviewing Phoenix’s new album, Duff McKagan reviewing Kiss and Andrew W.K. taking on Robert Pollard.

In his nearly 2,000-word review, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer occasionally highlights some inconsistencies in the rapper’s lyrical approach—like when he hates on Hampton houses though he’s probably living in an equally expensive Parisian apartment—but he mainly just praises West’s musical talent and effort in quite the dramatic fashion, using really powerful adjectives like “majestic,” “devastating,” “overwhelmingly incredible” and “un-fucking-believable.”
