After years of rumors of a reunion, former Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie finally reunited with the band last night at London’s O2 Arena.

Stevie Nicks  recently told the BBC that the band was in talks with McVie about the possibility of playing a song or two at their upcoming London gigs. “She is going to come and do a song on the second two shows. I think it will probably be ‘Don’t Stop,’” Nicks said.

As predicted, McVie came out and played “Don’t Stop” with the band to massive applause. “Don’t Stop” was one of McVie’s biggest hits of her songwriting career. It reached No. 3 on Billboard in 1977, when it was released as a single off the band’s classic album Rumours.

According to NME, fans got an additional dose of nostalgia last night when Nicks dedicated their performance of “Landslide” to another former band member Peter Green, who was in the audience.

Last night was McVie’s first performance with Fleetwood Mac in 15 years. McVie is expected to perform with the band one more time at their second show at the O2 tomorrow evening.
