One man’s garbage truly is another man’s treasure. While many would leave discarded wood, scrap metal, broken tools, empty cigarette packets and soda cans to fester, Tim Noble and Sue Webster collected trash items like this to create sculptures.
Noble and Webster positioned these sculptures against blank walls and used light to project shadows that depict people in various states—for example, standing, sitting, smoking or drinking among others.
Check out these sculptures and their shadow forms.
