Jack White Auctions White Stripes Marimba for Nashville Flood Relief

Between touring with The Dead Weather and collaborating with Jay-Z, Jack White is one of music’s busiest men. He’s not too busy, though, to help with the flood relief effort in Nashville—the city he now calls home.

White is auctioning a marimba, which he and White Stripes bandmate Meg White used on their 2005-06 tour, to raise money for the Nashville branch of the Red Cross. Said marimba is featured prominently on the Get Behind Me Satan track “The Nurse.”

Place a bid on the Musser M250 Concert Grand marimba (That is, if you have more than the current bid, $2,000, to spare) to win your own piece of White Stripes history and help the flooded residents of Nashville.
