In life, Michael Jackson was the King of Pop, but in death he's become something perhaps even more vital for these times: an economic stimulant. His albums have literally been flying off the shelves—well, not literally flying, but literally off the shelves, with physical copies making up 82% of the sales—clinching him eight of the top 10 spots on Billboard's Top Pop Catalog Album chart the week after his death. Even the magazine industry is getting a boost (a much needed one, we gotta admit), and Lord knows how much cash has been poured into MJ tribute merchandise (official and otherwise) since his funeral last week.
The intrepid crafters who sell their wares on Etsy aren't missing out, either. If you're looking to sink a bit of cash on some Jacko tchotchkes that aren't quite as tacky as the shirts and buttons being hawked on the streets in L.A.—or that are, at least, tacky in another, different, weirdly delightful way—these folks have your number. Here are some of our favorites.
