Obviously, we at Paste are fans of live music. From witnessing the performance tradition at Newport Folk Festival to scouting out new bands at SXSW, we're always after the next great concert experience. And we're often able to document these amazing performances. Whether we've sought them out at festivals or they've been kind enough to grace us with their presence at the Paste office, here are the 15 best live videos we recorded this year.

10. The Lee Boys – “Smile
Watching this clip from our Telluride Sessions, it's impossible to get through the video without feeling like The Lee Boys are just a couple of (immensely talented) fun guys you happened to befriend.

This track, which was featured on Best of 2012 album Who's Feeling young Now?, was a crowd favorite in Austin at our SXSW party.

The Alabama Shakes  were one of 2012's biggest breakout hits, and watching Brittany Howard perform for our office earlier this year, you can see why. Her passion as she articulates each word of “Be Mine” is absolutely contagious.

Glen Hansard  can be quite charming in front of a crowd, but it's not his coy grin and impressive facial hair that makes this clip a winner. This track and the steadily rising emotion behind it embody the characteristics any Hansard fan fell in love with in the first place.

Mike Cooley is a hero among Southern-rock fans, particularly in Georgia, and this stripped-down performance shows his depth and rare talent.
