J.K. Rowling Says Harry’s Story is Finally “Done”

Books News J.K. Rowling

Okay, J.K. Rowling. We know what you mean when you say “Harry is done.” We get you. Wink, wink.

The acclaimed author told Reuters this weekend at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that these plays (the eighth installment of the wizarding series) do not signal the coming of more stories.

Of course, she is particular about her wording and only specifically mentions the famed boy wizard who defeated You-Know-Who.

“He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we’re done. This is the next generation, you know,” Rowling says to Reuters. “So, I’m thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but no, Harry is done now.”

So does that mean there is a potential for stories involving Harry’s children, James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna? We think so. We hope so.
