Five Previously Unreleased Kurt Vonnegut Stories Set to be Published This Month

Kurt Vonnegut is still churning out tales from the grave. The famed Slaughterhouse-Five author is set for another posthumous release later this month: a collection of 97 short stories, including five that were previously unreleased.

Edited by longtime Vonnegut scholars (and friends) Jerome Klinkowitz and Dan Wakefield, and with a foreword from Dave Eggers, Complete Stories will be published Sept. 26 through indie imprint Seven Stories Press.

The stories, written in the span of Vonnegut’s literary lifetime, will be organized into varying themes, including “War,” “Women,” “Science,” “Romance,” “Work Ethic v. Fame and Fortune,” “Behavior,” “The Band Director” and “Futuristic.”

Kurt Vonnegut’s Complete Stories is available for preorder here.
