From The Walking Dead to Star Wars, pop-up books are slowly evolving into a publishing format that’s not just for kids. Pop-ups now appeal to the super-passionate, adult pop culture lover, too.
The latest series to get a pop-up tribute is Transformers, which is currently commemorating 30 years of its long-loved toy line. The impressively crafted Transformers: The Ultimate Pop-Up Universe, written by Matthew Reinhart and illustrated by Emiliano Santalucia, features pop-up paper versions of the series’ most memorable Autobots and Decepticons, many of which you can actually transform when you remove them from the physical book.
This latest innovation in pop culture pop-ups is available for $25 on Amazon. Find out more about the book on Reinhart’s website.
