The first Guardians of the Galaxy trailer had plenty to be excited about: Chris Pratt in a leading role, a raccoon shooting large guns and some epic make-up work.
The second trailer answers a few cast and plot questions lingering from the first (that is, if you didn’t go right to Google). It turns out the badass raccoon goes by Rocket and can talk as Bradley Cooper will be lending his voice. Vin Diesel will show off some tree trunks instead of biceps while voicing Groot, and he’ll give “gun show” duties to WWE superstar Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer. And while the gang is made up mostly of, as Pratt says in the trailer, “losers,” banding together could mean saving the galaxy.
Whoever created the trailer couldn’t have done a better job in setting the tone for the action/comedy adventure with the use of Norman Greenbaum’s “Spirit in the Sky” and reprise of Blue Swede’s “Hooked on a Feeling” from the first trailer. Check it out above.
