Corporate Star Aparna Nancherla Announces New Tour, Netflix Stand-Up Special

Comedian Aparna Nancherla has killed it as HR manager Grace on Comedy Central’s new series Corporate, which was recently renewed for a second season, but now she is stepping out of the office and onto stages across the country. Nancherla’s new half-hour stand-up special will debut as part of the Netflix series The Standups on March 20 and she will be hitting the road this August for her “It’s Me Again: An Aparna Nancherla Tour” stand-up tour.
Nancherla is no stranger to Netflix, having appeared in Master of None and Love and voicing Hollyhock during the latest season of Bojack Horseman. The co-host of the 2018 NYC Women’s March Rally was also named one of Paste’s “20 Most Innovative Comics Working Today. Her ability to detail cringeworthy anecdotes of anxiety and social awkwardness in refreshing fashion has made her an in-demand onstage performer and comedic actress that does not disappoint.
The “It’s Me Again: An Aparna Nancherla Tour” gets underway on Saturday, Aug. 18 in Austin, TX, and tickets go on sale Friday, March 16 at 12pm at aparnacomedy.com.
