Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson to Return for Season Nine of Curb Your Enthusiasm

Comedy News Curb Your Enthusiasm

Curb Your Enthusiasm has been off the air since 2011, but Larry David decided to bring the show back after five years because, as he said, “I left, I did nothing, I returned.” And as the new season takes shape, it’s added two more core characters to its cast.

According to Deadline, real-life couple Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson are set to rejoin the main cast of Curb Your Enthusiasm’s new season. The duo play fictional versions of themselves and have been appearing on the show as guest stars since season one.

Both Steenburgen and Danson are also series regulars on other shows (The Last Man on Earth and The Good Place, respectively), so their shooting schedules had to be worked around those other projects.

Season nine of Curb doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but it’s set for sometime in 2017, giving you plenty of time to rewatch the pretty, pretty, pretty excellent first eight.
