Like he says at the start of his set, Dan Wilbur isn't just a comedian: he's a writer. Not just a joke writer, but a writer writer, with his name on books, and everything. A regular ol' smarty-pants here. His great set hits on such universal topics as how hard it is to eat right and, uh, how ridiculous the Cleveland Browns are, with a wit and insight that are uniquely Wilbur's own. His new book, Never Flirt with Puppy Killers: And Other Better Book Titles, which collects some of the best fake covers from his Better Book Titles website, is out now through Andrews McMeel Universal.
