Eric Andre’s Kraft Punk TV Special to Air on Adult Swim Friday

Eric Andre is airing a new Adult Swim special on Friday for Kraft Punk, the mischievous cheese fanatic you might have seen prancing around The Eric Andre Show in an orange suit and a robot mask made of macaroni.

The special is titled KRFT Punk’s Political Party and will naturally find Kraft Punk hosting a political debate show set to EDM. According to Consequence of Sound, it was directed by Eric Notarnicola of Nathan for You and Who is America?, with The Eric Andre Show head writer Dan Curry penning the script. The special will air on Adult Swim at midnight EST this Friday, March 8, and will tackle everything from “conspiracy theories to race relations to Satan’s influence on the electorate,” according to Andre’s announcement.

Adult Swim and IHeartComix are also presenting a special premiere event for the special at Los Globos in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 7. The event also features a Q&A with Andre via satellite and Curry in person. The event is for fans age 21 and up, and will run from 8 p.m. to midnight on Thursday night.

The hellish fever dream that is The Eric Andre Show has run for four seasons and brought Andre’s antics everywhere from the 2016 Democratic and Republican National Conventions to the New York City subway and the streets of Paris. Andre also recently announced a new hidden camera prank film with Lil Rel Howery titled Bad Trip.
