Paste has been all over Anthony Atamnuik and James Adomian’s brilliant “Trump vs. Bernie” comedy tour since the start, with an excellent Q&A and a feature on Atamanuik’s most incendiary quotes as fake Donald Trump. So you won’t be surprised to know that we’re over the moon about today’s news: Fusion has ordered a Trump vs. Bernie comedy series!
This is a “cross-platform” production, which means that, per Vulture, we’ll get “web videos on Facebook, YouTube, and FCComedy, including tonight’s [read: last night’s] Facebook livestream about Super Tuesday, along with two on-air sketch specials this spring.”
Atamnuik and Adomian have been touring with the show for the past month. The two recently appeared on CNN, and you can watch a video of the two performing before the tour at the Upright Citizens Brigade below. The TV series will be produced by Serious Business, a company which also produces Comedy Central’s @midnight.
