Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman Among Judges for Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle

A few weeks ago, Comedy Central announced that Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle would occur at this year’s Just For Laughs Festival, pitting comedian against comedian in a bracket-style competition judged by celebrities. Today, they have declared that Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman, David Spade and Anthony Jeselnik will be among those holding the gavel, with more names to be announced soon.

Comedy Central has also released the names of the comedians participating in the roast battle, and the first-round matchups, included below.

Earl Skakel vs. Tom Ballard
Mark Normand vs. Tony Hinchcliffe
Steve Rannazzisi vs. Sam Morril
Ralphie May vs. Ms. Pat
Matthew Broussard vs. Mike Lawrence
Sarah Tiana vs. Chris Cubas
Olivia Grace vs. K. Trevor Wilson

Of course, Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle wouldn’t be complete without the Roastmaster General himself, so Ross will be hosting the event, with Brian Moses “officiating.” The Roast Battle will take place over four nights (July 28-31) and will be shown on Comedy Central at 10 p.m. EST, with the championship finale being aired live.
